How to get approved for your first local offer

Businesses on KUPELY choose which creators can promote them. Here is how the request works, what owners look at when they decide, and how to set up your profile so the answer is more often yes.

In short

  • You request to promote an offer, the business approves or declines, and approval gives you your own referral link.
  • Owners look at where your audience is, what you usually recommend and how you write, so complete your profile before you ask.
  • Request only offers you would recommend anyway; a decline is not a judgment of your work.

On KUPELY, you do not simply grab a link for any business you like. You ask to promote an offer, and the business decides. For creators who are new to the platform, that step can feel like a hurdle. It is better to see it as the start of a working relationship with a local owner.

This article explains how the request works and what tends to make owners say yes.

How the request works

  1. Browse the open offers in your city from your creator cabinet. Each offer shows what the business pays for and how much of the pool is still available.

  2. When you find one that fits your audience, send a request to promote it.

  3. The business reviews your request and approves or declines it.

  4. Once approved, you get your own referral link for that offer, ready to share.

Some offers also include a one-time visit payment for coming in and making a video. If an offer has one, a slot is set aside for you when the business approves your request, and you are paid after the business confirms your visit.

What owners look at

Business owners are not looking for the biggest audience. They are looking for someone whose recommendation will bring the right people through their door. In practice, they tend to check a few things:

  • Where your audience is. A following that is mostly local counts for a lot.

  • What you usually recommend. If you often share places like theirs, the fit is obvious.

  • How you talk about places. Warm, specific, honest posts reassure owners that their business will be introduced well.

  • Whether your profile is complete. An empty profile makes it hard to say yes.

Set up your profile before you ask

Your profile is the first thing an owner sees, so treat it like a short introduction:

  • Add a clear photo and a few lines about what you cover and where.

  • Link the social accounts where you actually post, so owners can see your recent work.

  • Mention the kinds of places you love recommending, for example family brunch spots, independent shops, or fitness studios.

A complete profile does more for your approval rate than any message you could write.

Choose offers that genuinely fit

It is tempting to request everything available. Resist it. Owners notice when a creator who posts about nightlife asks to promote a children's bookshop. More importantly, your audience notices too.

Pick offers you would recommend even without a link. You will write better posts, your followers will trust them, and your results will show it. Owners can see which creators bring people in, and a strong record makes the next approval easier.

If you are declined

A decline is not a judgment of your work. The owner may already have enough creators, may be looking for a different audience, or may simply prefer to keep the campaign small. Look for another offer that matches your niche more closely, and keep building your profile with honest local recommendations.

After you are approved

Once you have your link, a few habits help from the first day:

  • Visit the place if you have not already. First-hand detail makes your post more convincing.

  • Keep the offer's terms in mind, especially if a visit payment and an agreed video are involved.

  • Be open with your audience that you are sharing a referral link.

  • Watch your creator cabinet to see what your link is bringing in.

Approval is the business saying they trust you with their name. Treat it that way, and more owners will say yes.
